Innovation has and will continue to provide Gamers with a competitive edge in any game. In League of Legends, the people that play champs like AP Yi, Jungling Karthus, and double junglers - are greeted with queue dodgers as soon as the player announces their in-game intentions. Innovation should be the ability to see change as an opportunity, rather than a threat.

Granted, it does take a higher level of skill to go weed whacking with Karthus ,so when first trying out innovative builds, perhaps you should try them with a preset team of five. If you don't have five friends playing the game - GET SOME. Any game is better with a group of friends. If you're reading this and would like to try out a great new build, go ahead and try AP Yi or AD Malphite. Don't let a community that's afraid of new ideas stop you. Test them in normals though, and if you're getting harassed by your teammates in game ... just mute them. Continuously having to type to try and explain why you are trying something new and fun just isn't worth it. But remember, you are better than those assholes.
